Lumera GlobalTech Limited provides an electronic letter subscription service, sending letters on behalf of users to designated recipients (incarcerated individuals). All information provided on this website and through our services is for general reference only.
Lumera is an independent private service. We are not owned, operated, endorsed, authorised by, affiliated, partnered, or acting as an agent of any prison, correctional facility, correctional authority, or government agency. Use of the Services does not create an official, privileged, or institutional relationship with any correctional facility.
Lumera acts solely as a letter delivery intermediary. We do not guarantee that letters will be received, read, or responded to by the intended recipient. Letter delivery is subject to the policies and regulations of the correctional facility where the recipient is located. Lumera bears no responsibility for any letters rejected, returned, or withheld by any institution.
LUMERA DOES NOT GUARANTEE DELIVERY OF ANY LETTER. Once a letter is transmitted electronically to a correctional facility, the facility has sole and absolute authority to accept, reject, print, or withhold it. Lumera has no control over, and bears no responsibility for, any facility decision regarding mail. The following non-exhaustive circumstances may prevent delivery, for which Lumera is not responsible and no refund will be issued: (a) facility policy restrictions or content review decisions; (b) the facility's rejection of electronic mail services; (c) technical issues or system failures; (d) force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest, war, etc.); (e) recipient transfer, release, or disciplinary status; (f) postal or institutional delays; or (g) any other act or omission by the correctional facility or its staff.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lumera GlobalTech Limited shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our services. Our maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.
